Captain Dodoo is a highly accomplished maritime expert and a proud alumnus of St. Augustine’s College, Cape Coast. With a strong passion for the maritime industry, he embarked on his career by graduating as a Pre-sea deck cadet from the prestigious Regional Maritime Academy in 1984, laying a solid foundation for his future endeavors.

During his early years, Captain Dodoo underwent cadetship training with the Black Star Line, the national shipping line at that time. This experience provided him with invaluable practical knowledge and skills. He later embarked on a short stint with the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Line, serving as a Third Officer from 1991 to 1994. In 1995, Captain Dodoo joined Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd (P.I.L), where he further honed his expertise and contributed significantly to the company’s success.

In his pursuit of professional development, Captain Dodoo obtained his Class 1 Deck (FGN) Officers ticket in 2002 from the Regional Maritime University. This achievement demonstrated his commitment to continuous learning and mastery of his craft. Recognizing his exceptional skills and leadership abilities, he was promoted to the position of Master in P.I.L in 2009, serving in that capacity until his voluntary retirement from sea service in 2020.

Currently, Captain Dodoo has transitioned into the role of a Marine Surveyor, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience to provide valuable insights and expertise in the industry. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is a dedicated family man, residing with his loved ones in Tema.

With a remarkable career spanning decades at sea and now as a Marine Surveyor, Captain Dodoo brings a wealth of experience, technical acumen, and leadership to his role.
